Before an engagement
A preliminary enquiry does not bind you to buy a service. This preview takes no payment and creates no project booking. To change or cancel a separately arranged introductory conversation, contact hello@stovelo.uk with the relevant details.
Cancelling an agreed project
For a contracted engagement, check the proposal and agreed termination terms. Notify STOVELO in writing as soon as possible, identifying the engagement and requested cancellation date. The parties should confirm the status of work, any outstanding responsibilities and the financial reconciliation.
Advances and completed work
Any refund depends on the agreement, services already provided, legitimately committed costs and applicable law. Unused advances should be assessed against those factors. There is no blanket promise that every payment is refundable or non-refundable. Any proposed deductions should be explained.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you contract as a consumer, mandatory rights may apply. For many distance service contracts, the statutory cancellation period is 14 days from the day after the contract is made. If you expressly request that services begin during that period, a proportionate charge may apply on cancellation. Loss of a cancellation right following full performance requires the conditions in the applicable legislation to be satisfied. Nothing here removes statutory rights.
Problems and refund handling
If you believe services do not meet the agreement, describe the concern and the remedy sought. The circumstances and any applicable rights should be reviewed before a response. Where a refund is due, its method and timing must comply with applicable law and the agreement. No refund can arise from the simulated website form because it collects no payment.
